Thanks everyone for your input. I ended up going with a Traeger Pellet Grill. More expensive but I am also replacing a grill. So far I'm loving it and will be smoking some Salmon and Trout this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out.

OK I understand that the pellet smokers are much easier to operate. But what will you do when the NEXT pandemic or what ever comes along and they shut down the pellet factory? Just wondering. NO pellets NO smoke? I used to use charcoal for years. Did great. Then I tried propane with a good smoke box. That's where I'm at & I guess I'll have the same issue if they shut down the propane factory. LOL
