The trolling season is in full swing and there have been some huge kings caught but numbers are still down. A 37 pounder was caught in Wisconsin and a 42 pounder in Lake Ontario. We are encouraged by some reports of more two year old salmon. With plant increases from Wisconsin last year and Michigan this spring, let's hope our king fishing improves in the coming years. There are some trophies to be caught this summer. Tight lines and good luck!
