The better half and I had a great time this weekend doing some Lake Michigan sight seeing and visiting with some of the Southend members. Had a fun lunch with Kelliann and we talked hunting and fishing for over an hour and then we met up with Raven to relieve him of some of his gear that he wants to part with. Got some very nice stuff. Most all was in very good condition. Check Raven out if you need a few things.

One of the weekend high lights was a dinner get together with Split and his other half, Donna. We had a great dinner at a pretty fancy restaurant. Time flew by quickly as it always does when interesting conversation and a good time is had by all. Catherine enjoyed meeting you three guys and Donna. I am looking forward to getting back up there again and this time bring my boat and a fishing buddy or two.

Was good to get together Don. Nice to meet your wife, Donna and Catherine seemed to get along well. Glad you enjoyed supper. Forgot to ask, did you take Catherine past some of the boat dealers by chance?

Talked with Jay yesterday, seems as if his wife took him down to Florida for awhile. You know they needed that get away for themselves also. He took his retirement, so I know as soon as he is back he will be down in the lab starting the paint work for his customers.

Spring isn't that far away, and it sounds like you took advantage of some of Ravens sales.

It's a minus -1 out and I am talking about spring!

It's always nice to see you Don, and it was a pleasure to meet Catherine! Hopefully we will be talking more fishing than hunting soon. Lol

Donna suggested we take Don and Catherine to the Duneland Beach Inn. Trying to show Don a few different spots up here.

I know when we are out of town its hard to know some of the good spots. Have always had a good dinner at the Inn.

Thats precisely why I asked Ive never been there - have to give it a try!
