Just a reminder if you are launching out of Portage or Michigan City, call ahead first! Information is changing fast. Last I heard Washington Park was open and Trail Creek Marina was uncertain. But could change by the time you're reading this

Must have been a judgment call as they were not required to close:

Airlines, taxis, transportation network providers (such as Uber and Lyft), vehicle rental services, paratransit, marinas, docks, boat storage, and other private, public, and commercial transportation and logistics providers necessary for the Essential Activities and other purposes expressly authorized in this Executive Order.

Crap - never even got the boat in the water yet and may have to just winterize it until 2021!! A little joking, a little tear, but man lets hope they find a cure/vaccine for this thing soon. Everyone stay safe and thoughts and prayers for those that are being affected by this more than just some disadvantage from fishing.

Thanks for the info! If everything gets shut down, I'll just toss the canoe onto the truck and portage into the nearest beach. It would definitely be a cheap charter option and good exercise as well!
