Fall heading into Winter can be a fantastic time to catch perch. Often times there are not a great deal of people doing it because they have already packed it in for the winter. We have decided to create a “Fall Perch Rally”. The Rally will be three (3) separate events in the hopes that we can at least get one of them in.

This will be a great time to get together, meet people, and learn about perching this time of year with a little competitiveness thrown in.

Many factors will affect whether or not these events are a “go”. The weather is typically very unpredictable. How dirty the water is also a key factor. If conditions are not right for perching, the event(s) will not take place.

The event dates are below. See the attached form for details. We look forward to seeing you all out there. Updates will be given in this thread at least 24 hours in advance if the rally is a go / no go.

Saturday November 14th 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Saturday November 28th 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Saturday December 5th 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Let's hope the Perch run this fall makes up for the past months of here today and gone tomorrow. The way I look at this is more about everyone out having a good time, pounding different areas to find some fish and sharing the information to make this outing a success. I myself will be attending for sure and trying to bring a group of regular Perch fisherman I usually hang with out on the lake.

I believe this fall will be a good end to the season. I'm sure the strong south winds the past few days will really help cool the lake down. I was out yesterday morning for a few hours looking around and ended up with 11 nice 12"er's and about a dozen throwbacks. I may possibly have room for 1 guy if anyone is interested in filling the open seat for the rally.
