TOPIC:

Drained the lower unit last week before it got real cold and fond milky oil...no good. Got the problem found and some new seals ordered last Friday, but they aren't in yet. Anybody got an extra seat or tow? My dad and I are both off tomorrow and would love to get out. I got 3 dozen large fat heads from Slez this morning, somehow after fishing the slip all day from shore I have at least 4 dozen left one. Lake was pretty rough at Cal park early today but was looking beautiful when I left this afternoon. I sorted out 10 keepers in the slip from shore. I think the post spawn lakers moved in there today, I picked up one and lost one, saw another landed by another fisherman. Tomorrow forecast looks beautiful. Hopefully Fed Ex will be running early.

If I was going out tomorrow I would invite you along no doubt......but I have prior commitments unfortunately.

No problem, if anybody else decides to go tomorrow and had a seat, I got bait and sandwiches ready to go and I'm 20min from Portage, 7 minutes from Pastrick. I'll probably be head to the slip early and hopefully be able to get out later in the day in the boat.
