TOPIC:

I fished my first Bass tourney today on Pine Lake. UPS has a annual tournament in different locations around NW Indiana and my neighbor who is a UPS guy asked if I would fish. The launch is Stone Lake and weigh in on Pine. My boat won’t fit through the tunnel between the lakes so I called a friend who’s son fishes on the Ball State Bass Club Team and just bought his own boat this summer. I sponsored the team and we got 6th out of 22 teams. Top weight was around 9.4 lbs and we were at 7.3 lbs with a largest fish of 1.8 lbs. So we and all other teams were one good bass away from victory. Had a lot of fun and cool to support young fishermen! The team that got second place are some young men that are part of the LP High School Fishing Club. Congrats to them! Fun day!
