I am posting for a friend. He has a 7 year old English pointer. Dog is fully trained and has a very loving attitude. Great around small kids. Owner cannot use him anymore and would like to give him to someone who would appreciate a good gun dog. If interested send me a Pm and I can give you the owners phone number for contact. I've spoken to my finacee and she's good with it. I don't know if he's available but i'd be more than happy to take a look. Long time bird hunter with a great family that has branched out and needs a bird dog. I'd promise you pooch wouldn't have a better home life. Does the owner have papers? It's been a long time since I was in the bird dog game but there are a few pointers out of stock that are still hanging around I hope. We got the male from Griffith (best dog ever, like Ol' Yeller great) and the bitch was from Tennessee.

I don't know how to PM. If the situation was right I'll take great care of him.

the pointer is still avaiable. I just talked to the owner. When you log back in there will be a personal message for you with the owners name and phone number.

To send a personal message, you can do it 2 ways. #1 check the upper right hand corner you should see a spot that says Private message. If you do dnot see that then click on to the persons name that you wish to send a personal message to. You will see a spot that says send a message. Click on that type out your message and hit send. Hope that is some help.

Good luck Jeff, glad you were able to make contact with Ross. I hope it all works out for you. He is a really nice dog. Ross has been a friend for many many years and we have spent alot of time in the field in years past hunting quail. Ross has always had top notch dogs.

Sounds as this really nice pointer has found a new home with some great folks. Glad to see it worked out for both parties.
