I recently got a deal on a new trolling reel from Kastking. It is a #10 size reel but it is actually the size and capacity of larger #20 reels from Okuma and Daiwa. It’s about the size of a Penn Rival 15. I believe it is going to be a great reel. Very smooth to reel, the controls are easy to use, and has a better bearing count than the other reels I spoke about. I also like the oversized line guide. The spool is machined aluminum and the handle is very comfortable. About 60 bucks they are a “reel” contender for coho and walleye fishing. Lastly Kastking has a good customer service department that will take care of your issues if you get any. I have had to deal with them before and I have no issues at all with them. A few pics.
