TOPIC:

Spent a day in Charlotte Harbor on a chilly (by Florida standards) fishing for sheepheads (not gaspergoos) under some docks and fish houses near Boca Grande.  Nothing hot and heavy, but we didn't have to drill holes to get to the fish!  Got some snook and undersized groupers in the mix.

How were you fishing for them?
I will be doing a lot of inshore fishing around that area during Feb and March.
 

I think the place was called Bull Bay. There were shacks built on pilings in the water and the sheepheads were thick under the buildings. Best bait, they say is small crabs (maybe fiddlers).  None available at the baitshop we visited, so we used shrimps.  They worked but the guy we were with said the crabs were 10X better.
