Visited the inlaws last weekend so took my gear with me to get the Father in Law out on the ice. He wasnt sure when the last time he went ice fishing was but said it sure wasnt anything like he remembered as he was watching the electronics and camera I put down for some entertainment while we had slow fishing. I didnt know his lake had perch in it until I started bringing in these little guys. Had fun trying to keep them off the hook since they could hardly get a waxie in their little mouths, and that was not the smallest we caught. Interesting that I had never caught a perch there before and with those little ones maybe there are some bigger ones I had to think to myself. Caught a couple nice gills and a couple nice Pike biggest at 8 lbs and just over 32".

Thanks, good weekend with the inlaws makes the wife happy and got in some fishing can't beat that. That was the biggest of the weekend and my best for that lake over 15yrs of fishing it. Headed back to the smelt and Laker grounds next weekend.
