Hello everyone new to the site from an hour and half SE of Mich City. Have been to the south end of Lake Mich a handful of times. My brothers and I enjoy trolling for spring coho out of Mich City and then usually fish small lakes for walleye and bass rest of the time. Have a 16' Sylvan with a few rod holders and some inline planer boards nothing fancy but we sometimes accidentally catch a few. Can't wait for the ice to disappear so we can get out there!

Thanks everyone! Drjdrew my favorite walleye spot is lake maxinkuckee furthest north I've caught walleye is St Joe river in Elkhart/Mishawaka but I never do very well there we fish there in tournaments for our club Michiana Walleye Association great group of people can learn a lot about walleye fishing from those guys.

Thanks, Luke!

I gave Maxi a try two years ago, but didn't hit it really hard. I grew up in Northern MN and my style of walleye fishing didn't translate well there. I'll definitely look into the MWA.
