My wifes uncle is in from Missouri so him and her father wanted to go out on a cruise on the lake. I figured since we are out there we might as well drag some minnows around. I stopped by Slez's for bait and we left the dock around 10am and fished til 2:30 ish. We caught around 25 give or take, mostly dinks, but several in the 7-9" range and 3 over 10" with 12" being the largest. All fish came in 47-52 FOW between the donut and pavillion. At about 54 FOW I could see the thermocline setting up near bottom on the graph, all of the perch we caught were just inside that. Due to the stiff south breeze we were unable to stay in the zone long so had to drive back and re-drift.

All in all it was a nice day to be out on the water and catch more than I thought we would after the recent north blow. I had the expectation of a skunk.

Also in that 54 FOW area I saw alot of large marks near bottom where the thermocline was setting up.
Boatless!
