I have seen some randoms on facebook - i assume that is where all the action is.

Too lazy to hitch up the boat. Minnows I bought last week all died. Didn’t matter. Hit it from shore with ust my jigging rod this morning. Kept 13 from 9-12, sorted through probably 100 to get these. Fished from 7-11. Normally all I use are blade baits, but the dinks were so thick at times, I could’t hit bottom before a fish was on. I switched up to a couple of krocodile style spoons with a bigger hook. Even with a hook bigger than their mouth the small fish were still finding ways to get hooked under the chin and on top their heads. I’ve never seen the perch as stacked as they they are right now. They were biting just a foot or two under the surface when I fished that high. Fishing bait in there right now is just shameful with all the gut hooking of dinks going on. Would have been a nice day to be out at Gary or off the Shoals. If the winds don’t kick up later in the week, I’ll be out there...
