Black Ditch to the Condos in MC

Usual spots in St Joe

Heard of several multi-person limits in MC and a one-person limit caught in a couple hours out of St. Joe

Boat has been in storage for awhile, but anyway a lot of my fishing (1989<>early 2000's)from my Lund Tyee 18' Great Lakes model(1985) was per-internet. Common sense tells me with the hurricane happening on the southern east coast we are in a blocking weather pattern which means we have a high pressure over us which equals stable weather. With this stable pattern means good fishing on the big lake. Just cause they are not biting in the same area as yesterday don't be afraid to try different things. Try deeper water, troll with spinners if you have a trolling motor, cast out and try a slow retrieve, and such. I used to use little colored jigs with minnows tied to the line like a crappie rig which worked well. If you are in deeper waters try jigging with small silver cast masters or Swedish Pimples. Go east or west from the area yesterday. Also if you salmon fish these are the days you can go deep with no fear of storms or rough waters. Just my two cents. KK
