I had a little extra t imo on my hands this afternoon and hit Cal Harbor.
55 minutes of fishing produced 11 nice perch.
Large fat heads with a pink perch fly from Slez's was the ticket.

Went out for a little while this afternoon hit the north slip got 12. Big roach minnows were definitely the ticket they didn’t want anything to do with the crappie minnows. Never marked any big schools. I just waited for them. Good luck out there it was chilly after the sun started going down.

Seen where there doing well at 87th, lots of Dinks to weed thru but getting hot action.

Hey, that’s me in that last picture. I fished from shoe 4hrs. Pretty much non stop action, but about a 10-1 ratio of dink’s to ever 9” borderline keeper. The only time I wasn’t hooking a fish every cast on blade baits, I took about for casts in row and came back dry. On the 5th I got smashed by about a 12lb laker. Thankfully a boater volunteeredto swing over and net it. If it warms up at all, I’ll be out in the boat and drifting. I had a couple of fish that had shad in them in the ones I cleaned.
