Late report, but was very busy this weekend. Went out for 2 hours for perch on Friday. Had heard good reports south near the white wall to the Chalets. In 45 feet
Was a half dozen boats working the white wall from 35 to 45 feet. Nobody was catching much and we did not mark much of anything. Continued south to Chalets, same story. Decided to screw it and head offshore for salmon
Later in the afternoon a guy I know said they caught 20 nice ones north of the pier in 40 feet.
Sounds like similar story this weekend - hit or miss, if you're on em you are on em, but can be hard to find

St Joe worked great for us sunday, 40 keepers for us 2 of us, 8 inch to 14 inch, lots of 10 to 12 with big shoulders.
Monday out of New Buffalo for a few evening hours and only got 1 10 incher, marked lots just no bite, same for the few fishermen we talked to.
Was a great day, hope I have more like that.
Tom
