Does anyone have a picture or can explain the best way to rig my fishing pole for perch? Simply just put it a minnow on a jig head or is there a better way to do this?

Thanks in advance
The little red rocket! It's all the boat I need ;)

I put a snap swivel and weight on the end of the line. I the use #4 or 6 snelled, gold hooks and attach them above the weight. This allows you to adjust the bait.

I tend to keep it basic with a standard perch rig. Preffered baits are large fathead minnows. Sometimes, cut bait. smaller minnows, soft shells etc. Most times of the year its more about finding the perch than what they are biting on IMO. However at certain times, the bait makes all the difference in the world.

Bass Pro sells them setups in the crappie area for $1.99 in different colors, I use 3/4 to 2 oz weights depending on the wind and waves.
Good Luck.
