TOPIC:

I ran all over today looking for perch. I managed to find a few, but nothing worth getting excited about. I put in in Portage and fished all the way to long beach. Found a lot of bait between the Dunes State Park and Beverly shore's and then again east of MC. I couldnt get bait yesterday so I got a later start than I would have liked. Wind completely died in the afternoon and what bite there was shut down. Hopefully things pick up again. Talked to a few guys that said they had a mixed bag over the weekend with skunks and limits mentioned. Just got to put in the time I guess. I got fish today on baby roaches, little cleo spoon, shrimp, and live alewives. I only fished 19-26ft.

we got out at about 5 30 tonight and ran over to just east of the donut, we picked up 10 in a little over 2 hours. stayed in 22 fow after we talked to kicker, thank you for the info tonight! no jumbos but it felt good to go out and catch a few fish. fishing with shinners on a drop shot set up.

We managed 38 keepers and about 15 throw backs in 2.5 hrs I will post full report when I get time 22fow east of donut and your welcome willbill glad you got some!
