I know perch fishing this good hasn't been seen in years, but a word to those that might be new to the Big Lake: if you happen to see boats moving slow, it's called trolling. When boats troll, they usually have these orange things out called planer boards: the objective when running by a boat trolling shouldn't be to run over the top of those boards or within 50 feet of a boat trolling. Maybe try and take a wide-berth and give the guys a little room? It's a big lake out there...
A lot of folks are new to the circus that can be steelhead fishing and perch fishing going at the same time: it's common courtesy to try and avoid the guys that are trolling and not cut off their lines. I'd expect this on the weekend with the Sun-tan boat seekers, but not from fellow fishermen who should know better.
