Heard of some hot perch action so made it out this afternoon around 4 to give it a try. 3 man limit in about 2 hours off the water tower drifting from 50 fow down to 18. Best depth was 30 - 40. Bigger fish in the deeper water. Chiefs was out of shiners so fatheads and medium golden roaches were bait used. Handful of 12+, mostly 10’s, kept a couple of 8’s that swallowed hooks. Released quite a few dinks.

Also one 12” coho hit a rig and was safely released. Looks like there’s quite of few of them in the area swimming around in the lower 1/3rd of the water column.

Failed to take any pictures... only proof I have is the bag of fillets in my fridge.

Fished same time frame same place this afternoon and it was much slower. Ended up keeping 15 and tossed back a fair amount of dinks. Good luck to anyone going out tomorrow. Looks like north blow starting Sunday so might be it for a while again.
