got out early today primarily for steelhead...fished up close to ditch w/o any hits...headed for #4 w/o any hits....headed back west to mouth of ditch w/o any hits...trolled almost to the donut east w/o any hits!!!....so we went perching....donut was dead, went to dunes state park...that was dead...oh, we fished the trough by blowout and then went to 30fow in front of big blowout..that was dead....one boat was at the donut by then and they did not catch anything...so we went back to mouth and i just put my panoptix on and went in front of ogden dunes to the level of the last of the white stone wall and then went out to ~30 fow....not one hit...so somebody better give me a cortisone shot because my tail is curled down so far under my belly....going for crappie/gills tomorrow

Wow, that's a lot of information where not to fish and I thank you for that.

Hope next time is better.

Yes thanks for report. I was out of town last week up north, Wisconsin.
Did pretty good.
Was hoping for good silver and perch reports when I got back.
They will show up soon
Hoping to get out Thursday morning. I'll post what I find.

Contrary to the expected reaction to this report, it makes me feel a little better. My boat is in the repair shop waiting for parts with an expected arrival time of "whenever". It looks like this is a good time to be out of the action.

If I had a gun to my head and had to catch a perch right now, I’d head to 95th St or Hammond and be fishing the weed beds and praying a lot. There’s no thermocline and no reason for them to be any one spot over another on the east side.
