Once these strong south winds lay down is anyone planning on going back out? I myself will be fishing until I can longer launch my boat. Usually in years past I put the boat away and then the next day I'm on the ice drilling some holes.

Well we know the Perch are in the general area for this time of the year so I was looking at the forecast for the next 7 days and Tuesday winds might be light enough to get out and pound some fish. I believe the boat traffic will be at a minimum as the local baitshop/flea market in Hammond is pretty much done with. The fish are there but ya gotta get out to get'em!

I'll be fishing also. The browns should start gathering in the usual spots. They are alot of fun this time of year. I fish 10ft ultra lights and either 8 or 10lb. line. And the lakers after they get off the reef come very shallow in search of food. I had some great December action for them and never fish deeper then 18ft. of water. Then like so many, I will also be after some perch for the freezer. Just need the gales of November to calm down.
