Has anyone been out perchin?  No posts for ma y days....

We fished Mich City this morning. Only boated two,  and seen just a couple others caught. Boats were scattered and moving quite a bit. The guy taking launch money said its past peak now.

The weather has keeped us of the lake, was thinking Sunday morning  might be doable.

Two man limit today east of MC. Best bite was between 3 and 4. 38 fow blue water tower

We fished out of New Buffalo Sunday from 9am-2pm. We boated 7 perch. Fished from the Port south half way to Mich City. We stayed with the congregation of boats and watched others get the same one here and one there. We marked a lot of fish on the bottom, just couldnt get many bites. It is a very gentle bite at that. 

Morning bite was good at blacks ditch....  Sorry we missed it...
We got out late morning but talked with a wisherwoman at the dock that said they caught 40 between 6 and 10 am.
We fished noon till 5 and only keeped 10 of 14 .  May try again tue.

Went out of Portage this morning (Tuesday July 23rd). Headed straight east to the Dunes State Park pavilion area. Caught a few in 33 feet over there but had noticed a flotilla of boats just west of the donut. Decided to try there on the way back and added to our total catch of 12 keepers for today. Not great, but the lake was beautiful, great company with user Lund and Janet, and we did put some fish in the boat. All on baby roaches. Good luck to all.
