TOPIC:

Unfortunately nobody showed up for the Perch Rally so me and Horsefly puttered out in the fog. We nabbed a 2 man limit in two hours with mostly really great fish and were home cleaning fish by 11:30. 12 fish over 12" and 4 over 14". I really want to get out again tomorrow but I think I need a physical break after a long long week. I am sure I will be sitting around at 9am tomorrow wondering why I didnt get out lol.

That's awesome Jeff!! Wish I could have made it out, but things just didn't work out the way I was hoping they would.

Well at least it looks like we might be fishing into January this year at the rate the weather is going. Maybe at some point we can all get out for a fun trip and bring home lots of bandits.

Ok Jeff with the rally over which general area was the best? Gary flats or #4 light? My fishing partner won't go out in fog. But I'm going to try to make it out on Monday. Rudey

yesterday we caught fish in portage, gary, and cal park. December runs across the lake are chilly! lol. Anyway we ended up marking a pod of fish late yesterday and went back there today in a very specific location, hoping they were still there - and they were. 100' in any direction we were off the fish and little to no bites. We were in portage - 47 FOW.

Nice box of fish!!! I got held over a couple hits last night after my 3-11, and it took me a while to get moving, load the boat, and get bait today. I'd really like to get out and meet some of you guys, sure I've fished alongside most everyone on the board over the years. Hopefully the ramps stay open another month, to heck with ice fishing.

I think we are going to be fishing through december - hopefully! would be great to get a group out and have some fun for sure.

Won't be off until Thursday and the winds are supposed to pick up. Have to wait and see what happens.

Nice going Jeff and Horsefly on some nice quality fish! If it was me and I was on those I would wait till Monday when theres less traffic out and bring my grandma, grandpa, mom, dad aunts, and my uncles all out and pound'em good! ...! (j/k) I might go out in that area next week and take a peek around.
