Hello,

Has anyone been out of NB or St Joe in the past couple days. I know the silvers were holding over deep water last weekend; can anyone confirm if that is still the case? Thank you!

Probably not much talk out of St Joe this weekend with the tournament on Saturday. I will post how we did for those of you going out Sunday and Monday.

Motownhound,
There were some silvers in 40-50 fow from 15'-25' down last weekend down around Mich City but with wind out of the south all week this week I'm not sure if they are still there or not. Seems that 200 fow plus has been the most steady for silvers over the last month.

Thanks for the reply! We'll go deep and see if the lake and fish cooperate.

We made it out this morning. Started in 190 and worked out to 225 fow. Ended 8 for 8, 7 kings and one ho. Nothing too big. 3 came on 300 copper with blue stinger. One on braid dipsey on 2 setting back 80 with black/green tape stinger copper back, 3 color got the ho with d/f orange blade with peanut confetti, rigger set on 55 with 30 back and alewife spoon. 5 color got the rest with stinger black/blue/ green blend. I don't know the names of the spoons, but the darker color spoons made the difference. Surface temp out there was 48 degrees and all hits came in the top 55 ft of water. Bellies were empty on the Kings except for one with alewife. The coho was stuffed with flies. I've never seen anything like it, the belly was bloated and when opened hundreds of dead flies, lady bugs, and beetles came out. I thought it was seaweed at first but then looked close and it was bug parts.

Kings were 5 pounders with two throw backs. The coho was a nice 6 pounds.
