didn't have rods set till around 6 tonight, worked all in front of the mouth and over to the number 4 in 48 to 53 fow. hit are first double of the season inside the first half hour, both riggers fired off, fought the fish for a few till they tangled each other and both came off. Next fish came on a slider off the rigger, ended up being a goo, never hooked one out in 50 fow away from the rocks like that. 4th fish came on same rigger, by the time we noticed the rod pop, the fish was jumping at the front of the boat , Swam under the boat and managed to get into every line we had set, somehow got out of it with the fish and no tangles ! Don't think we would of been so lucky if it was a bigger fish. Next hit was on a dipsey set 90 out on a #1 setting with magnum streak glowberry spoon, ( been are hot spoon the past 4 days) ended up getting off but not before it bent the spoon all up! Second time in two days I've seen that and yesterday was the first time ever.hit another double at sunset and landed 1 of the 2 fish. Had pretty good action for the whole night till dark. Had the father in law on the boat tonight so I was glad we got some good action, usual we drag him out and end up washing lures. Ended up 5 for 9, 4 steel and the 1 goo.Other spoons that took fish were glow and blue dolphin. Most hits were on the sliders . Speed and temp wasn't working but think I talked to Raven and he said there was a good temp break around 30'. It was a perfect night on the lake, love fishing that glass!! Found a pleasure boater at the Launch that wanted to take are fish so we got out of having to clean them. Might go for 4 days straight tomorrow if the weather is good. Take advantage of the in close fishing while it's good!!

Wanna start by saying thanks for the solid reports willbill. Took my wife n two boys fishing last night in that same general area and ended up going 4 for 8 2 goo and 2 8lb steelies neat less to say we all had a turn with fish.. Kickin my self for saying yes to work today!!!!!

Way to put the smack down on them Willbill. Gotta laugh when those steelies do a number on you lke that. It happens sometimes.
But its a laugh and a cry at the same time. Nice job.

Noah sorry I missed your phone cal but sounds like you were in the right spot. 4 marker is the northwest corner of the port breakwall. As you mentioned right were the reef starts.
