Shout out to Bob on the Kellianne who passed on a couple of tips that made a great day. Stayed in close and went 6 for 10 running 6 lines. Not quite Kellianne numbers but he has the Steelie bite dialed in! Biggest weighed in at 14.4lbs (my buddy Joe with the fish) but all were 10lb+. Something I hadn't seen before, he ate both spoons on different riggers on the port side. When he came in both spoons were lodged deep in the left side of his mouth. Anything orange 35-43 down and Rapala on 150' copper were the best. If it's not storming in the AM my little buddy (son) and will give it a whirl.

Nice - made my fish look small :P

@ Bob - yes WAY too hot (or Humid more like it). We pulled lines at 10 and it still was miserable once on shore.

I am a little late on my 2 cents worth as I have been extra busy and tired lately. I left home Friday night at 10:30 to meet up with Kellianne at 4:30 Saturday morning to get in on the steelhead action. I worked all day and was tired as I could be. I popped a couple of super b-12 and drove 5 hours straight. Well worth it though as Bob and I took a bunch of prisoners on this trip. We wound up 10 for 12 on the steelies and 3 big goos, my first ones ever up here. We had a big Steelhead break a line during one of my fish fights and Bob's favorite puke spoon swam off with the fish. Of course it was my fault somehow. Nbk spoons on 150 coppers and on downriggers took most of the fish. Action was steady and sometimes frantic on the doubles. A custom j13 took a monster and a new spoon I bought , a Dreamweaver Thriller , took another pig.
We probably could have caught fish all day but the heat would have killed us. We fished till about 11 or so and pulled lines. I was on my way home at 1 pm, I fished for 6 hours but drove for 10. I must be crazy. Glad to have met you Kick'r at the docks. Hope to talk with you again.

That's awesome! Not sure how you didn't fall asleep at wheel on way up, let alone going back home! That may be more impressive than the fishing!

Don't tell my other half that I was on the rumble strips some on the way home. I made out like it was" no thang at all". A couple of Dews helped get me home. Went to bed at 8pm and stayed there till 7 am Sunday.
