Back out this morning at 5;30. Had to stay in the channel due to the small boat, we did head out near the wall in 4-5 foot rollers, wasn't too bad but not comfortable enough to venture further out. Stayed until 3 pm. Had one solid bump and nothing else. Fish were jumping and rolling all morning. We threw everything we had in the box at 'em. 5 other boats and maybe 10-15 guys fishing from pier/shore. The same guy that caught 3 in two hours on Tuesday was out and all I saw him catch was a stick. Another fella there in a 16' Lund like mine caught 2 coho that I know of and those were the only fish caught. We had spoons, plugs, spinners, cranks in every shape, color etc. I welcome any advice, tips, suggestions you are willing to share. It's been roughly 10 years since I've fished this lake.
Still had a great time fishing with a buddy :)

Still beats working, that was my saying all morning. Same results in sj for us this morning. Did manage a small king in 65 fow. We ventured out wasn't bad. I do have a 27 footer though. All determined by owners comfortablly. You were on fish though.

Did not see any pier guys with any fish. They may have caught some and I just didn't see them.

I'll never give up I love to fish too much. I'm just trying to get my buddy his first salmon before he gives up. Told him that's why it's called fishing instead of catching.

Good luck to the guys in the tournament tomorrow.

They can be tough to catch when they're in there like that. I've always done better in low light...or darkness this time of year. Seems when you see them jumping...the bite is off. Better to not see them. It can all change tomorrow, keep trying.

I always tell my customers fall salmon are very fickle. One day they'll bite like Boy Scouts at a weenie roast and the next day you can't buy a bite. Nice to know the fish are still there, anyway.

Has to do with the tides in the Pacific Ocean and ancient, inbred fish memories.... Long story.

Pier was dead last night, fished 7-11 few other guys out, notta damn thing. Stopped by the weir on trail on the way out. There were a couple coho and Steelies moving up. It's not a complete deal breaker, but the fish generally don't bite to good in warm water.
