Fished 5-8 p.m. in 70-95' hoping for a derby fish, i.e. big king or laker.
Six rod spread with spin doctors and paddles with flies and a couple magnum spoons. Did not land anything big, ended up nine for 14 with five lake trout and four coho. 200' copper with white paddle/mirage fly was most active set-up.

When I was out on Memorial day I was 60 FoW and got some pretty good sized Lakers (I have pictures posted on the forum). I was trolling 2.5 to 3 MPH on the GPS and was down about 40' I think. The hottest was orange crush spoons on any kind of attractor (the one with no sort of attractor didn't get any action). The Lakers I got fought hard to the point I thought they were Kings on the lines until I got them in. I was out a couple weeks before that in about the same waters and also got some nice lakers on the Orange Crush. So if you are looking for some nice sized lakers maybe try that setup. I would prefer Silver fish but I will take a good fighting Laker as a consolation prize any day. BTW I threw all the fish back Memorial day so they should still be out there :)

I was told 19 Steelhead were taken from the Harbor and that the summer run has started on Trail Creek. Can anyone confirm? I heard this in a tackle shop and it seams awfully early to be true.
