Anyone know if the Coho Club had the Pro Am tournament or what its status is? I was going to fish it but with the weather conditions decided not to even consider enduring the misery out there.

I noticed at 6:55 this morning on the webcam that no boats were lined up outside the pier heads like normal...I'm just assuming it was a no go. I think the start was 7am?

I assume thats the case. Assume tomorrow is not going to fly either. Wonder if it will be cancelled all together or postponed to a later date.

Maybe. Says 1-3's for tomorrow up the coast there. I was thinking about giving it a shot fun fishing not in the tourny though.

I think this "may" be one of those cases where the wave forcast is wrong. They are saying 3-6 MI City and west. Based on the wind forcasts, I dont see how it would be much different up the east side. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I really wanted to fish this tournament too - waves too much for my boat though if they have it tomorrow.

I agree with you. I don't really see how it could be much different. st joe sticks out like a small peninsula which might break up some of the north waves Farther South. I'm still on the fence about giving it a shot tomorrow or not and we have a pretty good size boat. I would be fearful for boats under 20feet for tomorrow in the tourny...they might call it based on that.

I stopped by the weigh in and saw a lot of Kings and Lakers. They will have results up soon, but I believe the top weight was 65 lbs.

Its been a strong East wind all day here in St. Joe. Zero waves closer to shore and around the piers.

I was out yesterday for a couple hours and it was slow.....marked fish but no takers. This weather really has fishing jacked up.

Thanks for the update Baron. Encouraging if there were lots of kings weighed in. I hope they're around for at least another week so I can get a shot at some next weekend!!
