TOPIC:

We went to the weigjn in for the first day and to the best of my knowledge... ONE and only one boat out of 60+ boats in it weighed their ten fish. Brutal conditions. Very common for vast majority of boats to have their three greasers and one or two coho. 5 fish total was pretty common. Guessing we saw 15 or so kings and some nice browns too. Big fish that we saw was a 20lb big fat laker.
I believe the total dropped to seven fish for the next closest total, with several of those.
Gorgeous day and lousy fishing. I hope it's not over....barely started in my opinion. We'll see what tomorrow brings, but we cut our losses and returned home today.

Rippin' Lips is down but not out yet! We need a 10 fish box tomorrow. Tall order and I have no idea where we are going to start. Hope it's better tomorrow.

Amen Baron. We only managed 4 today and to add insult to injury we ran all the way to EC because we new how tough it was going to be and were hoping to put 7-10 coho in the box before going to look for lakers. Sounded like a good plan, but after a 50 minute run and only 1/3 in over 2 hours it didn't turn out to be such a good run. Should have probably gone to get our lakers at some point, but it seemed pointless with only two in the box until our literal last 10 minute double. Going to be a crap shoot on where we go tomorrow, but I know it won't be a 25 mile run wherever it is.

Wish I had better news for you.

We got to our start spot out east and had 3 lakers by 8:15. Thought it was going well and we couldn't buy a silver fish. Picked up an upgrade laker late in the day and that was it. May do the same program tomorrow for the am and work the shallows to 50 FOW hard the remainder for some silver.
