After the morning storms passed, three of us headed out to Portage in search of steelies. Despite poor reports, sometimes you still just gotta go. Well, after a "19 fish on" outing last time out, was a "wash" this time out. Trolled for 4 hours and not a bump, simply washed our lures. If get some consistent south winds, there may be one last whack at em before the doldrums of August come!

Ouch, it can get pretty tuff sometimes and I'm with you "come on southwinds". Thanks for your report hopefully next go around you fil the box.

After 4 hours of washing I'll bet those lures are darned near sterile!

No, was video taken with my phone. Pretty cool action video of a steelie throwing a fit! It says press here to attach my video I selected from my library, then tells me to upload, but I get nothing. Maybe I can forward it to you in an email or text and see what you can do...or offer any other suggestions...

I have uploading video to the site disabled. It would take WAY to much disk space and one day I would wake up with a bill for $5k lol.

Have to upload it to youtube first, then you can just copy / paste the link into a message and it will set itself up nicely.

I'll check out my you tube down loading skills....
