TOPIC:

Started off this morning going out with approx 50 boats today. My first pass on inland wall we took 8 fish. But after the Hurd of boats going each and every direction. Combat fishing started. Moved to Gary which had the same amount of boats out but much more spaced out. Fishing was still tough the fish scattered. The only place I could find fish was fishing water that the fleet was not fishing. For the guys that I spoke with that did well found fish away from the pack. I did not really have any hot baits to say. But I was running all thin fish and j9s and 11s.

Same here Bill. No one hot lure for us either yesterday. Everything was on various colors of j-11’s and brads. Good work out there getting it done.

Good job Bill. Saw all the boats trailers at Portage and thought about bumper cars. Not fun when you have to combat fish this time of year.

Bill you have inspired me to build a fish hanging board now. Makes the hero shots really nice. Plus if I can get a couple of tall guys like yourself to hold it up it would help hide my fat belly. Make the pictures much better. It would also keep any eskimos around the marina from wanting to harpoon me for dinner.
