Good day on the water. Set lines as we pulled out of pastrick. No nibbles all the way to first light so we hung a right towards buffington and picked away at them. Did laps between buffington and first light all morning, stayed out of the crowd. Caught our limit of 15 fish and missed several others. Black spoon with orange stripe did well for us on dipseys. The regular body baits on yellow birds caught the other half of our fish.

Thanks for the report, I haven't seen one of those spoons in years. The old patterns still have some action in them just like some of us old timers eh Ed.

You got that right Jeff,,,,,,,, and feeling it today! So many of the old spoons that fell out for one reason or another. Would love to have a penny for every old North Port Nailer that was sold.

I always have an issue choosing new or seasoned baits. Since I am seasoned myself they usually get their spots and we just keep on working. I can make life simpler if I would just stay out of the dang bait shops, lol.

Noah, We ran thin fins and j11's off the yellow birds, no weights. Spoons on wire diver's, out 15 ft and spoons on riggers, down 10.
