Had a great day today fishing the 2018 SouthEnd Coho Cabin Fever Tournament. Headed out of the ditch and headed west towards Gary light. Set up and started fishing a bit northeast of the light in 40-45 FOW. Didn’t seem to matter what we had on, j-11’s, brads and bay rats all took fish. Right after setting lines we hit a flurry of nice Coho that weighed in around the 3.2-3.7# range. After our last outing I was confident we could find a pig laker to add to the mix. No such luck, all the usual laker baits we’re sucking in the Coho as well. All in all, great day on the water and we had a lucky streak that gave the “Dutch Mafia” a second place finish. Thanks again to all the SouthEnd admins and members who put all this together!
