Better bite today, And big thanks for tip from Fuzzy, who had 20 coho in 40-50' in Mich. waters on Sat.
Set up 7 a.m. in perch/stealth boat at Blue water tower east of MC. Took 45 min. before first bite, but never made across Mich. state line. Finished up at 10:30. Dodger/fly on Dipsy's out 40 and 45 best. One king (17-12 on contest scales) on Lemon Ice Stinger. Best water depth was 41'.

Wasted time in 60 ft of water. But once we fished 38 to 41 foot of water past the blue water tower we found the coho. Sounds rough tomorrow good luck

That makes sense with all the bait we've been marking this past week.

Fished 140 feet again, only a laker and coho for the efforts. Looks better to stay in close.

Never know this year. 45 minutes in we were searching for perch schools to mark and come back to more than thinking about salmon.
