Took a vet friend with me this morning, have to give back to the vets. Thank you for all you guys have done and do.

Anyways we started at 6am with a 6 rod spread. Ended 3 for 6. 2 kings (12 and 10lbs) and 1 laker. Lost a few but hey thats fishing. We started shallow at 68 fow and had all our action right away.

7 color with a jolly rancher lucky strike spoon. ( was givin some of them as they are new to try) took 12 lb king.

Dipsey out 85 steelie stomper took another king and lost 2 more.

Wire diver atomic spinny out 120 took a laker.

Drive by on swr flounder down 40.

Left early because of the heat, flys and bite died. Had only 1 bite in the last 1.5 hrs.

70 fow was best we made it out to 100.

Have a good holiday everyone. Be safe.

Those are some nice hogs!! Glad you were able to get a few in the recent tough fishing conditions not to mention the crazy heat.

Nice looking fish Tim. Will the fishing improve in the area as spring wears on or will it stay as it now?

As the water continues to stratify the fishing will improve as you'll know where to target. Right now its still almost anywhere in the water column to find them. Last yr in st joe the coho stuck around all yr in 100 to 150 fow which isn't to far out. Mid june to early July the skamania will come in. Right after they leave offshore kings mid july start picking up again along with mauture coho also. August has always been a great month there.
