Made a last-minute decision to solo out of Portage this morning. Dropped lines in 50' at 6:30 and headed straight north. Marked bait consistently between 10' and 30' all day. Got out about five miles before the wind started to pick up so turned around and trolled back.

One hit on a red/silver fly behind a red dodger. Did a lot of playing with lures, depth, speed, etc. Finally landed one Coho on a Gold/Tiger Hot-N-Tot flatline 80' back.

Beautiful morning on the water regardless.

Some times the wind can change your game plan, always good to see bait, sounds like the fish are a little deeper

We were just north of you in 100 ft and marked only 3 small bait balls. Did get nasty coming in.

I’m in a 16’ tiller Alumacraft so anything over 2’ gets nervous. Timed my return perfectly to hot the harbor just as things got exciting. Was hoping to get out to the IN line, next time I’ll power out further before dropping lines.
