Had a blast today with good friends, South Shore, Steelie Don, and Bob. Thanks fellas for jumping aboard today, felt good to fish with fellow Southenders. Caught some nice fish today, lost some nice fish today, and had alot of fun. Fish are dropping down in the water column. Coho just keep being eating machines.

We made it out today, on the water by 5:30 AM took a little while to get out to where we wanted to go. It ended up being a little bit more bumpy then I thought it would be to reach 44, 43 - 13, 14. Picked away at them for about five hours to get our 10 coho in the box. We also lost one steelhead and released a lake trout. Ran to downrigger‘s at 45 feet with free sliders they took 6 fish all on spoons. Ran two Magnum dipsey diver‘s set on 2 back 100 feet , they took 4 fish all on J-13 . Orange seemed to be the best color for us, didn’t matter spoons or lures. Sorry if I didn’t respond if someone called on the radio, little hectic at times and could not hear the radio that well. Excellent day on the water!! Good bite most of the morning, nice breeze, little chop but not really rough, equipment all cooperating, four solid fishermen, not too much traffic, I could go on and on... best part for me was NO FLIES!!!

Nice job Rudey on the fish today. We had some fun today also. The guys on the Donna Marie today had some good action and a fun time. Good conversations and learning some other fishing methods made it even better. Amazing how the ways to fish differ from boat to boat. Neat thing is that usually they all seem to work when fish are around. I found a good group of guys to call friends up there and I do enjoy spending time with them. Again Ed, thanks for the ride it was a hoot.
