Between the wave forecast and what looks like a thermocline setting up around the Michigan City buoy, decided to give things a shot this morning. Left Portage at 6 am and dropped lines in 70 feet. Trolled West then back East along the IN line and then back in to about 50’. No hits even though we threw pretty much the whole tackle box out there. Marked a few fish and a handful of small bait balls. There was one 8” Coho on a UV mixed veggies spoon when we pulled lines. Beautiful morning on the lake tho.

I was out the day before north of the gong by the wrecks with the same results as you except mine was a small laker at the end when bringing up the downriggers.

I was out that day too. Saw exactly what you saw so I started north and caught my first laker at 93 and several bites at 110

110 to 115 has been the magic land out there. Mostly trout - occasionally a steely or salmon.
