I would strongly recommend Rapture Trolling Flies: rapturetrollingflies.org/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2 . I have been using them for 20 years. not only do they catch fish they last, very well made. Early in the season I use more peanut flies and then progress to a 2 inch, 3 and 4 inch flies. How ever there is not set pattern in that I have caught some very large coho on peanut flies later in the season. Right now I would recommend running a variety of sizes and colors and then let the fish dictate what they want. The coho flies I have done the best on have been the asteroid Jr (2 in ) and the standard size and the green fission fly. Others I have done well on are the black fission, blue bubble, alewife and comet.

I use Poseidon Flies out of my kayak and they've treated me very well. I've got one that's caught me over 50 kings (including my first 25 lber) and it's still catching fish. There's not much fly left, but it seems to have gotten better as it got older. It's since been discontinued. I do think he's temporarily closed down his shop while he's on vacation, but I don't use anything else. Check poseidonflies.com in about a week.

Locally, check out ITO flies - itoflies.com Not sure what retail outlets carry them.

I make my own - mixes of Green, Glow, Pearl, Green crinkle all by itself. Silver, mirage. - bright days sometimes aqua-blue is very good.

I fish Rapture and ITO. Great owners and great work. ITO is out of Mi City, and Rapture is out of Muskegon.
