Got the little red boat out today. Managed 3 for 6 on the coho. Stickbaits were the ticket. Fish very scattered over this way, just hope to run across a couple hungry ones. Good to be out, water 37 degrees, wash park ramp open.

Super! Portage was a zoo today, might have to try a run that way next time.

I did a little bottom painting after running by Marina Shores real quick. Seemed like 80 or so trailers in Portage Marina lot. Certainly a zoo. Hopefully most did well!
Boatless!

Your not joking! My brother in law and myself fished from about 8:30 am until 2:30pm. 8 coho and 1 nice laker. The launch was wild with all the boats and trailers out of Portage.
The little red rocket! It's all the boat I need ;)

MC wasn't to bad. Certainly more traffic than a "normal" wednesday in march, but no more than a couple dozen or so that I saw. Saw another report of a 3 man limiit caught from there yesterday, 8-15 fow and 40-41 surface temp. I mainly was in 12-20 and never got above 37, so find a warmer spot and work it over.
Fish also seemed small to me...granted over 14", perhaps just because its still march and water is cold
