Launched out of Hammond thinking we were going to head to the hole in the wall but the waves held us back. Stayed close to shore and dropped lines in front of the refinery around 7 and picked up a little over 3 hours later with a 3 man limit. Everything was hitting today:
2/2 mixed veggie spoon
3/4 bloody nose alewife spoon
6/10+ Dodger fly w blue/black fly on dipsy 10 ft deep
4/6+ flicker shad
No kings unfortunately but the jumbo alewives were around and being coughed up on the boat. Speed was around 2.7 and the water temp was actually only 42. Fish have increased in size dramatically over the past week or so.
