Trolled at gary light first thing today. Picked up 2- 20” coho on thin fins 80” back with no weights. No action on the leadcore or downriggers. The water clarity was a little better than last weekend. The big blows we’ve had still had 2-5” waves out on the lake, plus the 13mph west wind made it interesting. Picked up and went to the port. One Solo boat was fishing there. We setup the same program as earlier but there wasn’t much going on. Trolled for about an hour and only picked up one 4lb laker on a 3 color with a spoon. Called it a day and battled the waves heading in. Main lake was 50 degrees on the top. We found some cleaner water around the port, but only small pockets. Looking forward to some more stable weather.
Fish on!
