Fished out of MI city w/ a buddy. Lots of lakers were boated w/ a very few silver fish mixed in. Marked fish from 15' to 40' down in 55-100' of water. Active fish and bait were in 55-65 foot of water. Silver fish took UV flasher/fly on 5 color lead and mag spoons (blues & greens) on dipseys 35' down. We kept increasing trolling speed hoping to discourage lakers, but hooked and landed a bunch of lakers while trolling at 3 mph on the fish hawk. Weather was sunny, waves were calm to less than 1'. Water temps at the surface were in 50's, forty foot down high 40's, bottom was in the low 40's.

Yup. Wonder if 6 Lakers to 1 silver is normal because of stocking? Or there were a lot caught in April and March. I found water temps hold different fish. When you catch lakers in trail Creek this time of year that says something! Thanks for report

Good job on the fish. Summer pattern is majority Lakers with some silver fish here and there in the southend. It can all change at a moments notice when then skamania come in.
