TOPIC:

Took new boat out now that I had a calm day to tune in autopilot. Had radio problems so decided to stay close to shore in case we needed support. Dropped lines North of donut in 55' and started a NE troll and washed lures until we were somewhere past the pavilion and decided to make a move west. Set up east of Gary light right before dusck and decided to make one move towards the wall to see if we could pick up and brown and luckly we smacked one. We marked ALOT of fish after this suspended in about 24' but we couldn't get them to commit. But we picked some coho on small coppers with orange crush spoons. All in all it feels good to be back on the water after around a year

Nice pics and fish! What autopilot did you get?

The new to me boat came with the auto pilot which is a Garmin TR1 Gold. I had to re calibrate it and set perimeters. Was a little tricky at first then it smoothed out.

Nice catch! Just curious what the brown hit? I've only caught one and curious of if it was just random luck?

Brown hit a magnum Moonshine Shelly Snack on a 150 copper I was bouncing off the rock wall. I usually can find browns at rock points, and any chance I get I'll run boards right to the wall to try and pick them up.
