Went out about 10am until 3pm. Beautiful day in the water as it started a little choppy at about 30 feet and settled down as we headed north to about 65 feet. Pretty slow fishing and seemed to be the only boat in the water. Tried pretty much every type of lure in the box but had no luck. Not sure if there was any reason but all we can do is get back out tomorrow and try again.

Still had some flies but noticed the nats were everywhere but weren't a nuisance. Always a good day to be on the lake though.

Don’t feel bad. I heard the fish really left the area temporarily and headed way offshore. 150-170 FOW. Once the west winds blow a few more days hopefully they will back in and that likely means 90-110 fow. Summer fishing is starting.

Baron is correct but also the Skamania Steelhead are starting to hit the piers now, usually peak time is end of June early July and it can be hot and heavy for them in close.
