My brother and I are going out tomorrow and I’m looking for suggestions as to where to go. We’ve gone out of EC three times so far and headed to Gary all three times. We’re new to fishing Lake Michigan after a very long hiatus We went 6/7 on our first trip, 5/6 with a nice laker on our second trip and 5/8 on our last trip two weeks ago.
Should we continue heading to Gary out of EC, try along the wall/ ship canal or head to Portage and try some new water?
TIA

I haven’t been out in three weeks. So I don’t have any up-to-date information for you. But I will be going out of portage tomorrow morning. If you’re out and want to talk and share on the radio.

We fished Gary today. It was pretty good. Not hot and heavy but a good bite. I’ll post a report.

I have not been out this year. 2 year old kid and a new job has kept me to busy to enjoy LM. That being said I would either launch out of ecand try shipping canal then shoot over to cal Park breakwall for coho or if your hoping for a king your best chance would be running to portage and running the sand area's (might be early
The little red rocket! It's all the boat I need ;)

I’ll be out early.  Getting off work at 4Am hoping to be out of EC marina by 5.   You can call me on 68 as well.  Give me a holler “FireFly” or Jums I’ll answer to either.   My game plan is probably start off at buffington area and troll wall towards Gary.
