Gonna be fishing the south end on Sunday, supposed to be calm. Question is where? Further south means better chances of finding kings, but after this wind I'm worried about how dirty the water will be.

From St Joe to Portage - where would you go?

I have fished both this time of year over the past 5 years and I would go Portage 100%. Usually things get going in St Joe around end of April early May.

Best bet for calm and cleaner water is going to probably be out of Hammond behind the break walls at Cal Park/95th

I would launch out of portage and head east. I may be heading out for a afternoon trip this afternoon and that will be the plan if we make it out. Will have a report up tonight if we do.
